Welcome to the Greater Houston Leadership Education School website. Our theme, Upside Down Inside Out, is taken from Acts 17. Our goal is to provide you with outstanding opportunities to discover new resources and to give you a wealth of new and creative ideas for ministry. You will find a great selection of workshops in the areas of ministry with children, youth, adults and spiritual formation. In addition, this year offers a special group of workshops on Young Adult Ministry. You will want to meet the dynamic young pastors who are leading these workshops and learn about this growing area of ministry. Worship will be a not-to-be-missed experience, and we are pleased to welcome Bishop Janice Riggle Huie as our keynote speaker. Cokesbury will have a store, and many vendors are signed up to offer an array of products and services.
So, open the pages of the website to learn about the workshops being offered, make your selection, and register to make the outing to Conroe for an exciting day! There are special prices if you register early, or if you bring a group from your church.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 19 at First United Methodist Church in Conroe. Registration and the Marketplace open at 8:00 a.m. Worship begins at 9:00 a.m., and the 90-minute morning workshops begin at 10:30 a.m. Lunch is being provided by the Children’s Ministry team of 1st Conroe.
